I absolutely love my DFX although I purchased it new many years ago. Since then I have purchased/traded for two used machines and had no problems with either. One was a Garrett Sea Hunter II that I traded a Fisher 1280X for which I enjoyed but wanted the Minelab Excalibur 1000 so I sold the Garrett then purchased a used Excal plus made $25 on the deal.

I'm sure you won't have any problems. Lets us know how it turns out.
