Just bought my 3rd Compadre in last 6 months

Wife sending me to a Dr....lol Thing is all of them had different coils.

OK then!! ...Why is that? - Must be a story here somewhere..^_^

We have three of ‘em around here but they’re all my kid’s detectors. I’d still like to pick up one of the early Compadres though - the old round speaker hole version.

One for each hand and one on the backside... boom!!

s-l1600 (76).webp I just bought this older one the other day. Looks mint!

Nice purchase Mojave1 :occasion14:

Are you going to open a compardre museum?

I just love Tesoro's and when not using them I enjoy just looking at them...lol. They just look like a toy that you want to play with. Newer detectors look like cell phones and I don't like looking at them. Have a mint Sidewinder Umax on the way now. I have skipped buying a couple of early Sidewinders because I've heard the Umax Sidewinder was better for some reason. Guy says he only used it a couple times. Was worth the wait.s-l1600 (77).webps-l1600 (78).webp

I just bought one on eBay a few minutes ago. Tesoros are like Hostess Twinkies. Once they’re no longer available everybody wants one. :laughing7:

a "brand new ''sealed" in the box "mojave" just sold for $275.00 plus $15.00 ship.
already "appreciating!"..just sayin'

Still, not a bad price for the last new Tesoro - especially when that model works so well.

can't help but wonder while designing the 'mojave"
if the "crew" knew this was it for them.as it would appear they ''combined"
the attributes of "three" models in to it's design. the compadre, the silver u-max,
and yes, elements of the bandidio 2 u-max,along with the terrific 7" precision 'thin"
concentric coil....just sayin'
