just getting back into this

Never as big into this as many of you. I did pretty well and things dried up and I quit. That was 2 years ago. Got the itch itch and got a cent box and two nickle boxes. Got about 5 wheats, one war nickle and two buffalo, one dated 1917, other no date. At least I wasnt skunked. Decided to just roll everyhing else back up. In the past I used machines, but they always broke down and tellers no hurry to fix or unjam. At least I can roll in the comfort of my home. Wasnt sure how to post a pic

Welcome. I kinda got a little burned out myself a couple of years ago in early 2012 when I had a rather long (for me anyway) skunk streak of 30 or so half boxes. But just like u said I got the itch after a while and couldn't stop hunting for too long. And I like searching nickels too. I guess Im pretty lucky because the coin machines I use seem to work really well and hold a lot.

I do pennies and halfs, because pennies ALWAYS have keepers, so it makes the long skunk streaks on halfs more bearable.
