Just got a MX Sport

Any tips for this Detector that y’all are willing to share?

I got a Minelab X-terra and terosa Silver Umax. They are great machines in there on way. But, I have in a very short time love the MX Sport! Found some stuff that I have already went over with the other two detectors. Silver and some quarters!

But, it’s real sensitive to some places I’ve been. Having to run it on about 2 or 3 sensitivity. Ground balance was a difficult time. The place was so trashy, I could really find a spot that didn’t have some kind of trash.

I have been very successful with the sport. The 7 inch coil kills it In the trash. I run it in all metal mode. Dig a large plug and clear it of all trash and metal to get a GB in those places. I find it odd you had to run it at 2 or 3, but my bet is stock coil is just too big for that much trash. I can usually run it from 5 to 7 even in mineralized areas.

Thanks for the tips! I haven’t even tried all metal mode yet. Do you use any discrimination?
