Picture kind of big to see, but from your first post on this, it's a great find.
Any possible link to Braddock possible? Hope so, would love to hear of it's
link by age to his campaign. Like I posted earlier, his last camp before the
battle was supposed to be approx. one mile from my home. There was a
historic marker for years near the McKeesport- White Oak line stating this.
In fact, a small road near there is still called Camp St. due to this historic
fact. The road goes from this area toward the Monongahela River where the party made the first crossing in present day McKeesport. Nice display on Braddock's battle at the fefurbished Carnegie Library in Braddock, Pa. Have done work there installing 1800's style wrought iron fencing for the Library. Waiting for more info, will stay tuned.
