an ancient pull tab and granny's clip on earring....sounds like a very good day indeed! :D

That's what my Granny called an earbob! Silver? Monty

a lot of times those older pulltabs can mean a silver coin or two. i think they were using that style in the 60s.

Cleans up nice, congrats.

Neat finds, any chance the earring is silver? Interesting pulltab. HH, Mike

No mark's as of yet...might be plated...???

Neat find Civil.

Nice ear ring

Neat finds!

Here's an interesting thought. We MDer's probably now control the pulltab trade. We could corner the market!
Oldest pulltab ever found. We could start a new collecting fad....Or maybe I should shut up. :-X

so granny was sipping on a "cold one" and lost her earring--- ;D ;D ;D

I'd like for someone to post a display with all the different kinds of pull tabs we find. Maybe I'll start a blog on it next time I go out? Monty

Oh no. Now we are going to have to identify all the pull tabs we find!!! No way. No how. If ya'll get me started on that stuff. I'll have to beat myself silly with my detector coil. Please don't start that. Please. We are all stretched to the max trying to keep up with real finds. Now we add pull tabs???? What's next? Nail sizes? Uses for pieces of wire? Trying to get the rust off bottle caps to find out the brand and when it was sold???

Help! This could be metal detecting hell.

Daryl

Good find, now find the silver that's there. HH
