just recieved mt ace 250

i just got the ace 250 today and barely had it out of the box when my father asked me to help him find his property markers. since they are 2 inch pieces of iron pipe how hard could it be? well we bagan searching in the front yard about where we remember the marker being and i got a hit. turned out to be the door key to the bronco my brother used to drive in the 80s! after another half hour i found a clad quarter and a clad penny but no markers! i had no idea there was so much stuff in that yard! all kinds of pull tabs and junk! now i need to read the manual and figure out how to REALLY use this thing. we both had a great time looking though!

were you in all metal mode?

If not, give that a try, it's very likely that the machine was doing it's best to ignore iron.
