The highlight from today's hunt as to be this nice medieval leather stud decoration. A very simple thing but absolutely charming. Also had a cut quarter hammered coin of Henry 111 (1247-72 AD). The silvered buckle is very interesting, it looks to all the world modern due to it's condition and the leather still attached. I think though it's been buried air tight, possibly for a very long time.
