Been a while since ive posted. Probably gonna take me a couple. Started walkin fields for the first time and this is what came out of it. Honestly I liked it but river and creek walkin still are my go to. This is a total of about 5 hrs of walking. The large peice is a blue rhyolite that really stuck out against the dirt. Cool little multicolored jasper tool but really dont know what to call it. Maybe awl or small knife.

Thanks but actually thats the first 3 times I went. 2, 2hr hunts afterwork and 1, 1hr hunt. Did find some really neat chunks and flakes and 3 tips. Put some larger rocks off to the side to let the rain wash them off. Hopin maybe there is a chopper and hammerstones out there when I get back. Stopped by once and it seemed that everything had turned back to dirt color again. I dont know if it was because we had some crazy winds or what but now Im just waiting for the rain that aint getting here till thursday or friday.

Really nice pieces you got there. I especially like the white ones. congrats!! :icon_thumright:

Thanks for checkin them out. Everybody loves the white quartz but we are allways looking for the others. Probably picked up close to 300 artifacts in my 20 months of hunting and 250 are quartz. Its a good day when we come home with chert and jasper. Seems to me that the points made from material other than quartz are more well made. With the exeption of a few in my collection.

Nice group of finds man, the fields are pretty dry and dusty here I'm ready to hit the creeks.

Me too. Fields wont compare when its 95 degrees and the water is nice and cool. Cant wait.

That large blade is spectacular. Also like the others, particularly the little triangle.
