Sure are pretty little pooping machines aren’t they? We feed the little free loaders around here too!

Me too. When I was a youngster they used to feed right from my hand.

Little poopers are ok, better than the Canadian Geese. :laughing7:

True .... But Canadian Geese are yummy on the smoker!

Thats about all they're good for, ever try detecting after they've been there?

I was in a deer stand with my bow. It was a cold, windy evening and it was quickly getting dark. A chickadee landed a few feet from me. I wondered where he was going to spend the night. He didn't seem too concerned. There was a good sized dead elm near me and the bark was slipping. The chickadee landed on the edge of the slipped bark and looked around. Then, he hopped right in between the bark and the tree and disappeared. Looked liked a pretty good place. Birds are not dummies. Gary

If the sensitivity is turned up too high it will false on those patties. Then again if it isn't fresh I'll dig anything to get to what's under them.

That's pretty cool to witness that one Gary, it never occurred to me that the bark would provide a home for the night, but it makes sense.
