Kaufman's Pittsburgh Tag?? And Iron Item

Went to a park today that used to be farm fields back in the day. I don't hunt parks usually because I hate the trash in them even if there could be rings (I stick to the old homesites). I wanted to find jewelry and my first place fell through so I went to this park. I dug every signal over 39 on my AT Pro. I dug over 40 pieces of aluminum in less than 3 hours,I wish I was exaggerating. I found this tag that I can barely make out the front but it says Kaufmann's Fifth Avenue Pittsburgh and on the back it has a design and numbers 236636. The other item is iron. It is flat on one side and has two ridges by the holes on the other. The penny is for size. It is from before the parks time. The park is no older than 40 years old.

Thanks!

I think your iron piece is just that, an iron. The base for one anyway. The handle is long gone. They were heated up on the stove and then used for getting the wrinkles out of your clothes. The oval plate might be a baggage tag.

Yeap! 'Round here they are called a "sad" iron. Go to any old home in the area and you'll find one or two being used as a door stop!
