That's really nice, was that a ground recovery, congrats

Wow. Did you find that in sand? Amazing condition!

Beautiful!!!

Tell us how ya found it!

Nice. I found one similar in Arizona this past winter for the Maricopa Couty fair, I think it was 1911.

Very nice find! Congrat's!!

Iowa Dale

Congratulations on finding that beauty!

Sweet! That’s beautiful. I assume that is a detector find? Do you have any pics from before you cleaned it up? How did you clean it. It looks like new!

It was found with the equinox . I have like top soil dirt and it preserves brass, copper and silver really well . I am hunting a small town that is seven residents away from being a ghost town . It has been detected hard over the years and is known for night hawks and trespassers . The coins are pretty scarce so it is mostly relics and you work hard for them .I soaked in mineral oil over night and used a tooth pick to remove grime . I do this on IHP , brass, tokens and nickles also . This is my second fair badge . My first badge is older I believe , no town or names / date and had a small bit of damage . It also did not clean up like this one did .badge1.webp

This is really a very nice old relic. The fact it is complete is really something.

That is one very nice looking relic. It cleaned up great.

Nice save. You did a great job cleaning it. Looks awesome. Congrats

What a terrific find. I'm really impressed with its condition. The soil has been very kind to that relic.

They both came out really well after cleaning! Good thing you have gentle soil!

Bravo merc, many happy returns!
