Hunted a hunted out feild this morning and was supprised to find a flat button and a key. :icon_thumright: It was only my second flat button so I'm still excited to find them. The key is really cool. Had some rust on it so I hit it with the good old electrolosis bath and it cleaned up nicely. :icon_sunny:
Went to lunch and the group decided to go to a new spot where I found the other item. Looks kinda like a belt plate but it's real fancy. All the holes had metal rings in them at on time, but only two rings are left. Maybe it had little charms or was laced up? It's bent up pretty good but still a neat find. :headbang:
Thanks for looking.

Looks like part of a coin purse to me, may pay off to grid that area really effectively for the other half and its contents. Nice find!

I think you're right it does look like part of a change purse. To bad the area I was hunting was hit very hard. Several very nice coins came out of the site. Once the bean feild is cut we can go back and check the rest of the area over.
Thanks for the id. :notworthy: I was way off on that one. :dontknow:
