✅ SOLVED key from colonial cellar-hole

Hi, I'm trying to get an age range on this key found in a cellar hole occupied from c. 1700 to 1814.

key -- cleaned up a bit in WD40 and scrubbed with a bronze brush

Below are pics of some keys from one of my reference books that were found in Rev War camps. Yours certainly appears to be similar so I'd say mid-to-late 1700s which agrees nicely with the occupancy of your site.
