Two finds from yesterday are not the most valuable, but are now two of my favorites. A killer crotal bell the size of a tennis ball, and a 1857 flying eagle cent! My first eag cent! The bell was buried about 7 or 8 inches down. It still has the thing inside to make it ring.

That is a big bell.....And I absolutely love those flying eagles, even when toasted. Just add more butter......:laughing7:

Nice crotal and you found a coin from my bucket list. I dug my first and only crotal earlier in the year and it had the dingler inside as well!

SWEET Freaking finds - Congratulations! :occasion14:

Very nice! That bell is great. So much nicer than the usual plain ones. The Flying Eagle is a taught coin to dig. I only have one myself. Thanks for sharing!

That is a very nice crotal bell, & a tough size to find. I have only found 1 that size myself. Congrats on your Flying Eagle also.
