King Fisher and Coyote

I took a bike ride out along the creek this afternoon and this is a couple pictures of what wildlife I saw. Both were pretty far away, so these I took with max zoom which don't come out the best. It was nice to see the King Fishers are back around, as I see them more often through the winter month than in the summer down here, so I'm thinking they all head to the streams and beaver ponds in the high country during the warmer months? The coyote I spotted was busy hunting in the sticks and I had to holler it so it would look up at me for a picture. It was pretty brisk out this afternoon, but the sun was sure shinning at least.

We have a king Fisher that hangs around. They are fun to watch. Nice photos.

They are fun to watch, but the ones around me prefer I keep my distance. You know when they're around by their loud chatter as they fly up and down the creek.
