first time I ever heard Kiss was 1975 when I was 12 years old and my brother had borrowed an 8-track of Kiss Alive. It was so different and far removed from anything the radio played which was junk like Simon and Garfunkel or Sonny and Cher. It was the kind of heavy music I wanted. I became a huge fan but lost interest when they started to lean more towards the ultra glam vegas look with the over the top ridiculous costumes beginning with the release of Dynasty. I've always thought their best albums were the first six released.
