Went out this morning to a beach I haven’t hunted in awhile. Several clad coins, back of a watch, broken key, Three Wheaties. Two 1944 and I think the third below the two is 1936. Wheat pennies are just right of the dimes. Hit that 1965 Rosie and thought I had hit silver. All in all a fun day. Stopped off at the store to pick up some lunch and passed by the “CoinStar”. Couldn’t help myself. Looked down and saw silver. It was a 1964D Rosie. “Go Figure”.

A fellow member asked me to post some pictures of the beaches where I hunt. I try to go early, so they are not real crowded. The one beach is know for snorkeling and is typically a good beach to hunt after a storm or hunting crevices. I hope you enjoy.

Nice finds, beautiful photos! :occasion14:

Nice finds! Congrats! :icon_thumleft: Beach looks very peaceful at that time of day. How crowded does it get?

They all get crowded after about 9:00 a.m. I try to get out early from 6:30 a.m. to around 8:30 a.m. And late afternoon from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.am. The folks are pretty nice, always interested in “Did you find anything good?” They see me picking up caps, plastic and general trash. The locals especially are very appreciative. Clad heaven on the beaches and an occasional ring or two. It’s been fun.

Can't beat those beaches over there. Guessing the water is warm all year which equals "people"..the great denominator. Have fun and keep posting those great finds and pics.

Yes, the ocean water is between 78’-80’. I swim out of the pier often. Thousand of fish. I competed in the Mango Sprint Triathlon last Sunday. The water was great.

some of those beaches must of really got turned up after last weeks storms...beautiful beaches

Yes, the underwater guys were out in force. I found several earrings and a ton of clad coins. No silver or fine jewelry.
