Kruzer charger problems or what ??

I received my Kruzer on Thursday. The Kruzer came with battery fully charged, I used that evening and the next morning. That morning when I returned home after using the Kruzer for around 3 hours total detecting time, I connected the battery adapter with U.S. adapter plugged in and connected to the charging port on Kruzer. I let it charge for around 3 hours and then unhooked it to see if it was charging (no light or indicator on adapter to see if it is on), still 3 bars no change. I am wondering if I am missing something (nothing in the manual) or the adapter is defective. Any advise would be appreciated

When I charge my unit the Battery Icon on the display flashes on and off.
I am 3/4 charged so the last or fourth part of the battery icon flashes

WOW I swapped out the black U.S.plug with my plug from my racer 2 battery charger and it works I see the icon flashing now (Thanks Hookedondetecting), Makro take note, dont go cheap on anything, U.S. plug adapter, cheap coil cover, you heard and replaced those cheap wired head phones on the racer 2. No knock on your product its the best, just a suggestion.
