Labor Day Weekend Finds - '19-'36-'46 Wheaties & more

Hi Everyone,

I had a good extended weekend. I was able to get out and swing the coil every day.

In addition to finding a stolen (and now returned) 1985 class ring, an 1857 LC bank token and a sterling silver child's ring, I found all kinds of other stuff.

Any idea what the "square" object is in the center?
It was found about 3 inches deep next to a post dated 1951. On that post used to hang a U.S.P.S. letter box.
This was also the same area where there used to be a long hitching post.

Interesting find on the Kennedy, you don't see many dug clad half dollars in this hobby.

That Kennedy is the first CLAD half dollar I've found - back in the Spring, I was lucky enough to dig
an 1826 Capped Bust Half Dollar. I'm a lucky pup!
