Lake hunt coughs up another Merc and Buffalo and 5 wheats

I drove out to the country and knocked on four beautiful properties this morning, got three no's and one yes. Look at this place!


Then after lunch and a power nap I went with the boat to treasure island (not quite up to par with Abe's treasure island, but my treasure none too less) notable finds are 1945 Merc, cute ring, 1939 Jefferson Nickel, no date buffalo and five wheats! Almost forgot, I got what I think is a piece of arrowhead!

I didn't do the house yet, just set things up, spent two hours just knocking on doors, every house had that potential

Haaaaaa, I'm headed to that beautiful house this morning, had to set up with owner that he was home when I'm there, so I have his contact info. He explicitly wanted, "to see all finds before you keep them" I don't have a problem with that, I feel, if I'm reading him right, that he really doesn't care about monetary, just a trust issue. The property has thousands of acres of farmland along with the house. The house property is like a "compound" there are other houses behind the old house, also old and new barns. Hopefully I can win him over, he wanted to stick me in with the sheep pasture and farm fields, (no detecting around the houses) I told him "respectfully I might be interested in the sheep pasture and the agriculture fields at a later date" then I smiled and laughed after I asked " are the sheep in there now?" "well isn't that special?" He got my insinuation, I then said, " look, how about I just start in the front of the house, and just there?" His whole attitude lighten up, and he expressed his concerns of security. He said "sure, that would be fine".
Old dude, you are very correct, the front yard, easy, has the same square footage of land as two football fields. I'm going to grid every square inch. I already spoke to him about having guest detect with me, he seemed hip to that also. Hopefully all will work out, it feels good, and I feel it will be good.
