It's got nothing to do with a large cent and never was a large cent. Just a token a female magician had made from Copper blanks in the early 20th century long after large cents were out of production. Probably mass produced by some novelty company for her to hand out. It looks to be cast rather than struck by a press like normal coins are.

They were made as they are: a token. It did not start life as a cent.
