Found this about two years ago now, is still my favorite find. I.went up to Virginia to visit my mom, she said they had an old house site there on their property so I figured I'd bring my ole trust bounty hunter commando along. I had just started metal detecting then. Well first morning I went out was there five minutes BOOM!! Loud sound... I thought to myself beer can!! Dug up about four inches, it fell into my shovel. I could see the largeness of it so I thought probably an old token, looked at it
1832 one cent!! Got so excited had to sit down. So since then I've been hooked, gotten alot of great finds there. I've about hunted it out. Kinda sad, but hey alot of memories and hours hunting, fighting snakes, horses, an goats.. List goes on.
