I was glad this one came out of the ground fully dressed to impress (and actually suprise) 3 1/4 by 1 2/8.

Was this found with tip down with the basal area visible?
 

Nice! I like those type drills, although I've never found one except one with the bit broken off. A buddy of mine found a nice one like yours years ago. Does it have one shoulder intentionally removed?

It was, I found it in a field, in a huge clump of dirt.

Great find! Clearly a projectile point conversion. Do you have an ID on the type?
