laser trident 2 SI

Hi all I'm from the uk and have recently bought a laser trident 2 SI which is basicly a vaquero with an operating frequency of 18khz (complete with guarantee from pentechnic) and the 11 x 8 DD coil. I own a deus and use it all the time but i wanted a back up machine and have always liked tesoro's - especially seeing as they are analogue - it's nice to get away from all that digital and bluetoooth stuff - sometimes i feel like it's frying my brain using the deus. Anyway I did some tests on my deus finds - everything from roman minums to cut quarter hammered coins and I'm happy to say the laser / tesoro picked up every single one clearly with typical setup and no supertuning - which is quite surprising considering some of the british hammereds are so tiny and thin and contain some iron. Out in the field i do dig more junk with the laser but i put that down to not knowing my machine - if i used the deus without the control box and display they would be exactly the same apart from the deus has faster recovery. So all in all a beautiful powerful detector and a real pleasure to use. For any of you tesoro heads out there i would highly recommend one!

If they were easier to come by here in the states I'd probably have one. Seem like a vaquero on steroids.

Get the 5.75 concentric coil for it. Nice little coil for tight spots and trashy areas.
