Lassen county California fossil hunting questions

Hey out there. I'm a novice rockhound and want to include fossils in my scores but not really sure where to start. I know lassen county real well, just not sure what I'm looking for to find areas that might produce. I'm in Susanville specifically. Any advice is helpful. Thanks.
