Went to the town park that's been hunted since there's been metal detectors. The first day I got a no date buffalo and a 1917 wheaty. Lost track of time and school let out. As the kids walked by I got asked "Are you metal detecting?" about 20 times! lol. I just smiled and said yes. A couple asked if I found anything, I did a show and tell then. And one kid was following me and telling me all about his Grand Dad's detector. He said mine is a lot nicer than his Grand Dads! lol Here's the finds from the first hunt.

Today I went there early and the first hole I got a 1898 IHP! Then it was nickel city for a while but they were all Jeffersons. Then as I was leaving I got a nice 13 on the Nox. Got another no date buffalo.

I think these are the best nickels I've ever dug in this town! Usually they come out really crusty, even the Jeffersons. Both hunts I dug a lot of clad and aluminium too!
