My primary ordering bank isn't real consistent on the number of half boxes they order for me. One week it will be 2 boxes and the next week it might be 6 boxes. I've had them get as many as 15 boxes in one week, which took me a few pick ups and dumps (at other banks of course) to go through. Well, last week I go to make my pickup and they say they have $3000 worth. That's perfect because that's my current bankroll. If you read the title, you'll notice that I only picked up 6 boxes and I mentioned 8. I'll get to that. Also, it turns out that only two of the boxes were from Loomis. The other 4 boxes were Stringer and Son boxes, which I've only gotten once before and were all skunky.
Box number 1 (Loomis) was a skunk.
Box number 2 (Loomis) was not a skunk, but did provide a somewhat negative first for me.

That's right, it was missing a roll. It's a Loomis box and I've never had that happen to me before. I guess that's one of the CRH taxes you read about. At any rate, I knew this wasn't a skunk because the bottom right two rolls were enders.

That's the way I like to start.
Box 2 had 6 40s and 1 90% Ken.

Box 3 and all the rest of the boxes are Stringer and Sons. It didn't have any enders, but it wasn't a skunk either. It gave up another 3 40s.

Box 4 did not disappoint. It had 5 more 40s and what I think is a beat up 1963 Proof Franklin. The pic I took is horrible, but it does show some mirroring when you hold it right.

Box 5 didn't have a Ben, but it still produced 5 40s and a 90% Kennedy.

Box 6 wasn't quite as productive as the previous 5 boxes, but still managed to give me 2 more 40s for the stack. It also provided my first ever Commemorative Half, a clad 1986. That was pretty cool.

So the week goes by and I check in with my pickup bank only to find out they didn't place any order due to July 4th. I was disappointed, but my friendly teller says, you didn't pick up all the boxes last week. We still have two more. WHAT? How did that happen? Turns out that I picked up from a different teller and she didn't tell me they had ordered 8 boxes last week.
Well, I gladly pick them up and it's another two Stringer and Son boxes.
Box 7 was pretty good. The first half of the box had 2 40s. The rest of the box had one more 40, a 90% Kennedy and a sweet 1942 Walker. Love those ladies!!

I made quick work of box 8 which provided another oddity. 49 rolls were skunks. 1 roll had 3 40s. I don't know how that happens, but if you open enough boxes, you'll see some weird stuff.

All in all, a pretty good 7 box streak. 27 40s, 3 90% JFKs, 1 Franklin and 1 Walker. Throw in the commemorative half first and I'm pretty happy. It's no monster box or huge total, but I love finding AG box after box like that. It sure makes it more fun.
Happy hunting all!
