The last couple days of searches produced
(02-07-2007)
From $51 in halves from a coin counter 1 - 1967 Kennedy. The teller just let me look through and exchange on the spot as she couldn't figure out how to sell me the coins from the coin counter.
(02-08-2007)
At the first stop, I got a $100 bag of halves in which the teller said prior to me buying it, "I don't think there is any silver in there." To which I replied that's OK I'll buy it anyway.
Found 2 - 40% Kennedy (1967(2)) <-- can never trust that the teller knows for sure.
6 Foreign coins
1 Russia, Rouble (1967)
1 England, 2 Shilling (1962)
4 Canada, 2 Dollar (1996(3), 2002) <--- Don't mind these since I go to Canada often enough and they are roughly worth $1.60 US.
1 Box of quarter produced ... 3 Foreign coins
1 Cayman Islands, 25 Cents, 2002
1 England, 10 New Pence, 1992
1 Canada, quarter, 2003-P
1st box of dimes produced
6 Canadian dimes (1961, 1975, 1980(2), 1990, 2004-P) at least the 1961 is silver.
2nd box of dimes (not opened yet - paper rolls update later)
an additional 4 clear plastic rolls of dimes selected at the bank by looking at the reeded edges produced.
1 - 1964-D Roosevelt
2 Canadian (1968, 1982) and the 1968 is not silver. (Wish I had remembered to bring a magnet)
7 rolls of nickels selected by looking at the edges (harder to pick out the silver, but still possible for most war nickels) produced:
1 War Nickel (1943-P)
1 Buffalo Nickel (1935) <-- normally from the edge these don't stick out, got lucky.
5 other pre-1960 Jefferson (1941-s, 1948, 1957-D, 1959, 1959-D)
Oh I also picked up the box of half dollars I ordered through Wells Fargo, (occasionally keep trying to see my luck will ever change there). Once again very poor, only 1 - 40% Kennedy (1967).
And last but not least I picked up a 2 $2 bills:
1 - 1953 Red Seal $2 Star Note. Just wish there wasn't the tiny burn hole in the middle of it. Oh well, still fills a slot in my currency collection.
1 - 2003A Richmond Only interesting as its the first 2003A I have found.
