Been extremely busy lately...But I did manage a couple of hunts lately...I usually hunt cellar holes but decided to try an old farm field...Went up a little hill and iron targets were everywhere...Figured there was a house there and I was right...First target was a toasty King George...Then part of a crotal wish it was whole would have been a beauty....Then popped a button...Then and old Key...And Part of an old Shoe Buckle...Applied silver open work...Again wish it was whole but still nice to find...Finds dried up there so decided to hit the field....Found another toasty George and then a toasty 1803 Draped Bust Copper...It was a great day...So on Thanksgiving I went to a place I have hit many times and still did ok...First find was a Square rosette with great patina...Then an old spoon handle...Then I get a loud hit a couple of inches down... Cut a plug and see a small stack of silver coins.. My heart starts racing because we have found a lot of old Spanish at this site...But it was just a barber half, standing liberty quarter, and a mercury dime all 1900's.. At least its silver...I also found a nice 3d tombac button with a big shank...And I found a nice Zouave button with 90% of gilt. Thanks for looking
