Last evening's mixed bag
Hunted a spot that I have done well on in the past. They recently chisel-plowed the field and rain helped level it out a little bit. Got a mixed group of finds including a broken point, buttons, part of a spur, 1918 merc. & miscellaneous. Even the little 22 casing was interesting since someone at one time ran part of a rod nail into it. Was hoping for an old coin out of here but it was still a fun hunt. This site is full of iron and I actually found most of these items after I switched to my 5" excellerator coil and slowed down.

I like the buttons. What setting on your Explorer do you use to find the points?
