I found this old suspender buckle it's pretty ornate in its design. Don't how old it is but I like it.

The copper tube is really a what is it if anybody Knows what it is I would appreciate it.

The large brass ring thing I assume is maybe a reign guide but not sure any help on that and circa date would great.

The silver ring was found a few days before it's marked AVON and .925 not that nice but I'll take the silver weight.

Man, that suspender buckle looks gothic....and I don't even know if that describes it. You plan on straightening that ring out? I think a jeweler could do it rather easily. Great finds!

Very nice relic hunt! I really like the ornate buckle. :occasion14:

I think your copper tubing item was used for putting tension on tent tie down lines. Yep,, sure looks like a rein guide.
Some of those Avon rings are worth a pretty penny.
Congrats on a nice hunt.

I like the word 'Gothic ' you use , I was hoping it would have a Patent date but like I said "I like it".

I will likely leave the Ring as Is & put it in with the rest of my Silver Finds or (Treasure Chest). - Shoe Box.

Well done Davers. That's a reins guide alright, cars became prevalent in 1920s... so most likely a bit older than that. I like the suspender buckle too.

Best of luck to you sir!

I thank everybody for the reply's & likes .
I don't post pic's much but it feels good to get a WTG for the hours of hunting in the heat & bug's.

Also I just wanted to give a Shout Out To Kevin at my Club for inviting me & others to hunt this site, As it is being Sold & will 'Close' on the 31 of July. Then be off limits.

This Site is right beside some Civil War Period RR Tracks (so there was /is potential .& I have dug many CW Items by those same Tracks (Just a few miles further Down). A few guy's hunted it on Thursday (I had a Dr, App, ) so I did not make it anyway they found some cool older Relics , Then on Friday 5 of us hunted it for a few hours (When I found my stuff) , one Guy found a Nice fired 3 ringer, & Kevin found his 2 ed CW Era Bullet Ever ..(fired).
They went back on Saturday & likely since then ..So I hope they found some more good Relics.

ATW , Treblehunter .
Thanks for the ID's The rein Guide is All Brass (Did Sound Great) I thought the threaded part was Iron .
Ill def , keep the Copper Tube piece , as it has that Old Look.

Rant Over Thanks Again 'All'.
&
God Bless America .

Really a nice collection of relics for sure. I hope you find plenty more in the same spot.

Thanks U.B. & any Props from the Charlotte Silver Mafia almost makes me feel "Made" or a 'GoodFella' at-least.
