Went to the Manor and hunted over old ground but this time in all metal mode,
Slow reading all the numbers and tones. I was able to pick out a 1916 buffalo 3 inches down.
I no darn well I have swong over this ground fifty times in other modes with other coils and my old Excalibur and passed right over this,
The CTX is on point!!

Nice Buffalo..we don't see many with readable dates! And yes..that CTX is quite the machine, my hunting buddy packs one and it is incredible..thx for sharing...ddf

Not only a dated Buffalo Nickel but a rather early one as well ! I've only dug one Buffalo - a 1929 (In Taos, NM.) a couple of years ago .
