Yes I cleaned it up and posted it on the What is It forum and they said it was part of a WW II buckle.

Me living down here in the South I don't know if I could handle the Snow Hunting, but I can stand the cold weather if I am finding relics.
 
Hey Alabear those are some good finds. Do you ever get down to this area? (Huntsville) My buddy just got a nice solid cast block I button.
