The sun was shining today but it was -3c so I ventured out again. I go close to Lake Superior were the Mormon's used to have a big setup to move gear inland so horse related finds are always big.
First signal.....first hole 1876 Queen Victoria penny.

Strange horseshoe....never found any of this variation before....any ideas?

Any ideas on this.....it's roughly 6 1/2" across...it also says 6 1/2 on it.

It says "Manufactured for Field & Davidson - Hamilton."....not frickin idea?
