Last hunt of the year/weeks take

Hey Tnetters, when you have a good spot enjoy it because they are getting harder to find. This Christmas eve I went for a quick hunt not expecting to find anything and a few short hunts later I have more CW relics then I had found since I started hunting years ago. The first picture is todays take and the rest is from three other hunts .
Totals are 10 eagle buttons 5 damaged, 5 undamaged,two of the undamaged are infantry cuff buttons, 11 button backs and 63 bullets of which 14 are williams cleaners and other odds and ends . The coolest thing is a barrel tap key and two carved bullets.
I probably will never top this as far as CW stuff in a short time. This is about 12 hours total and there is lots of camp lead also that I did not add. I will remember this week for a long time.

Thanks all ! Westfront this was my first good campsite since leaving Germany. We hit a French camp in 2006. Same type of stuff just earlier.

Funny how that works. Just about time one thinks that it's all finally coming to an end. A short, unpromising hunt turns into a long, many trip, honey hole.

You've done a lot for saving a LOT of history! Good job!
