Last night's schoolyard hunt

Well, they started to put in a track at my daughters elementary school playground that is located directly across the street from my house. There has been activity on this lot since the 1880's, they scraped a 5' wide path down about 4 to 5" & in some areas even deeper. They only did about a quarter of the playground, so hopefully there will be more to come. This is what I found in about 2 or 3 hours, along with a bunch of other junk which I wont post

Wow! Those are some great finds. The silver is nice, and the 1959 penny is also cool! I've never found one.

Nice silver finally a Barber dime that is not 1912 thats all it takes sometimes 5 inches i almost filled a coffee can full of coins at the old school when they put a new tennis court in the field Good Hunt Dd60

That sweet old Merc is about as worn as it can be....how many hands has this dime passed through??...and imagine all the places it's been!
