I'm going to start with this pin has nothing to do with In and Out Burger. How do I know this because first of all I contacted the company and they said they never made a pin anything like this secondly in my opinion it's older than In-N-Out Burger I also glued the palm trees back on will silicone glue but they were not attached like that originally I don't know anything about metalworking so I don't know how they were attached but it wasn't with glue there's also a pin on the back that I did not find from the stuff I found around it I would say 1920 or earlier it's brass I found it in Central Georgia and it's about 2 inches in diameter 0620180825.webp0620180824.webp0620180825b.webp

One like it in the thread below (from another detecting site, hopefully that’s ok). The very last post notes the similarity to what is said to be a replica 1850 Florida belt plate... But I don’t see a button like this in my books, and can’t confirm that that buckle is identified correctly.

I saw that too, but can't find anything else on South Carolina Militia buttons/belt buckles either which is frustrating.

Apparently the crossed palm trees for Florida militia are unsupported or inconclusive in historical documentation:

Yes I've read all this material I want answers. My thoughts are like laundry I like to fold them up and put them away but with all these unidentified items I have all the laundry is draped over chairs in my head I need answers

Does this make us a washing machine?
