Was getting well beat until the very last target of the day...6 hours to find the Rev War era Navy button. Cleaned up nice as well!

Tough to tell the size, bit I believe that heart motif may have been used to pin back the coat tails of uniforms. The Scottish Highlanders (71st regiment I believe) frequently used them. Great finds!

I wish that were the case but I suspect this one was part of an ox harness...
