Compilation of my last three times out and sharing what I found with all the members here.
All three were public park and ballfield-type areas that were at least 100 years old.

Bagged the sterling silver pendant in an iron patch.
There was so much of it I moved like a snail on a turtle's back.
Came in as a solid quarter reading about 5-6" and was laying at a 45 degree angle in the hole.
I had a whisper of a quarter reading off to the side a bit, but no matter how hard I tried I could not get a good locking, repeatable signal and finally
lost the signal all together. Oh well, will save that one for another day.
Nabbed an old brass/copper alloy locket at the next site.

I am guessing it is over 70 years old. Guessing, because there are no dates or inscriptions.
The hinge is visible from the upper circumference. There was a small piece of glass and blackish stone just hanging off
when I removed it from the hole. However, no other piece. Cleaned it up as best I could. Would have loved to have a date on this one.
The only other thing it could have been was a woman's pocketwatch.
Lastly, my next site was a ballfield I have tried only once before. This park is only a bit older than baseball itself.
A classic victorian-era ballfield. Very little trash however. Very little old coins that I can find. The place has been well fished through.
I was quite thorough, and only have a couple wheats from last visit. No silvers. I may try heading back there next year with some different equiptment.

The wheat is 1912. I think that may be my oldest wheat to date. It was down 9", and I dugt it just on a hope there might be a silver down there.
Definitely, was in the right place for the types of coins one is looking for.
If there are any left...there isn't much. Maybe a good frost heave over the Winter will change the game.
I do not know what the circular object to the left of the wheat is.
It has a small hinge, but the metal is quite thin. No clue.
Also, found a bullet and a very old shotgun-shell primer/base.
Not much in the way of finds. Finding the ammo-parts one can imagine the area being a hunting field before they laid the ball-diamond down so long ago.
Hope to get out again soon before the ground hardens up.
Haven't hit a silver coin in quite a while now.
