Late 1700's site finds

Well the weather up here in Vermont is really coming along nicely. I was able to get authorization this winter to detect a new old spot. This is where the original meeting hall was in our village and also where the oldest cemetery in the area is located. (no you can't detect the cemetery), but all around it is fine!!

Only got to spend about three hours there today, but I know that I will be going back. The property now has a home on it from the early 1800's so there is a wide range of finds here.

Found a really nice late 1700's colonial button that still has a lot of silvering on it. Also a small silver coin that is worn smooth. It is smaller than a US silver three cent piece. Could have been a 1/4 real? Also located a nice musket ball and the better part of a candle wick cutter, (on the right) There were also some other nice buttons and and item made by the National Brass Mfg. Co in Rochester NY. Thanks for looking...Lance
