Started out in a hammered out park this morning and found the injun and some wheats but the silver was hiding too well, so on the way home I stopped at an old house site that has produced some oldies in the past and tried the 12X15 SEF. The LC was about a foot deep and better condition than any of my past LC's. I suppose it's in better shape because the fertilizer and farm chemicals didn't reach that depth. Hope I can hunt there again before it gets planted.

Nice LC !! :o :headbang: :notworthy:

Keep @ It and HH !! :D ;D

That LC is remarkable in many ways. Not only does the coin show very little wear, but also many of the surfaces appear smooth as if the metal had never been in the ground. Too bad we can't find more coins that look that way. Hope there are more to be found like that.
