Lead comb?

Odd lead items seem to pop up at these older spots. Thought this was a hinge until i got home and cleaned it up A bit. It is made of lead, can see where i dinged it and where the mold seams are. Teeth seem to be made of iron or something. Lead horse comb? Any ideas on age ? Thanks 😀

Carder tools seemed to have more and closer teeth from what I can see. Teeth seem to be more in line with a comb and its is a little ornate so maybe a more personal item? Unfortunetely no marks from what i can see.

I'm thinking that it's a woman's hair comb.....similar to one like this.......
