Could be weighs 21 g x thank you
I'm not sure if you gleam this link PAS
Here is the section that refers to your hanging weight
So it will be on of the pages, and it might help to bring up your county and it might narrow the search down also.
With 1.5 million recorded finds it's a great source of information

Thank you mine is a little slimmer ? Someone else thought it could be a viking gaming piece?? I will keep searching tho x

Looks like it could be a down sprue from casting
You could always turn it big end up, drill a hole for a string or chain and use it for a dowsing pendulum. That'd be cool! Finding gold/treasure with a found treasure. Might even be a first!!!

Welcome to Tnet, hope to see more finds in the future.
Not in keeping with a Anglo-Scandinavian (Viking) Game Piece in my opinion. (but I see why someone would think that)
Pieces of shaped lead are a common UK field find & come in all types of shapes & sizes. Near impossible to date without expensive metallurgical analysis. As a very general rule of thumb, the whiter it is, the older it is, but even then soil conditions affect it in different ways.
As already mentioned, it was probably a homemade hanging weight & the suspension loop is missing off the top.
What was it used for, we will never know for sure. It's not a typical loom weight shape but its a possibility.
It does look at least 200+ years old & my guess would be late Medieval.
One thing for sure is NO LEAD=NO SITE. (Settlement)
It is one of our base indicators along with pot shards, nails, & dark soil.
