Lead Ingots

I know these are lead but does anyone know anything about Seitzinger? Just curious. Thanks for any comments or suggestions.

If Its harder than regular lead then its babbit.

Thanks for that info taz420. I'll have to do some sort of test to see if it is indeed babbitt. Maybe enlist a metallurgist or something.

If it's lead, a light tap with a hammer should result in mainly a dull sounding thud. Linotype or Babbit, IIRC, should have a bit more "ring" to it.
