Lead or Pewter Buffalo? What was its purpose?? Age?

Found this at low tide today. It appears to be pewter or lead and has a little size to it. Check out the group size next to a mercury dime. Anyone have any idea what it was used for? Age? My guess would be 1930s or so, but no data to back that up. Thanks for any input you can provide!

I can't for sure see that as a buffalo... I could see it as the handle off of an urn sorta thing, with the decoration just being a scrolling nouveau sort of thing.

That, too, looks like a hood ornament, perhaps off of an old Kyser.

Looks like spelter to me, that normally indicates an early 1900s date.
