I was doing some work with my backhoe over at the farm I work at part time and decided to do some swinging on the nice freshly dug up ground . I got a good signal after about 10 minutes of swinging and dug up a plug and down in the hole I honestly thought it was just a peice of old lead pipe as I pulled it out of the ground I got a good look at it and realized it was an old syringe missing the needle ,I could use some help on the date with the find if anyone has some info would be great I also found an old brass ruler it was in two peice and has tylor brothers rochester new york which was kind of neat and also a small ruber airplane I figure the plane dates around 1940 or so .

Great finds.
The brass ruler looks like a thermometer scale.

The other may be an old Sausage stuffer

Thanks 4 -H , that would explain why it reads 100 , 90 ,80 ,70 etc...... and I do agree with the sausage stuffer becuase most of the medicine syringes I have seen pictures of have a slot in the side of the tube and this one doesnt .. Thanks for the ID and info !
