Morning All,
Had a great 'sunny' day out at the Grenade farm yesterday. Photos coming soon!
Amongst the finds was this object:
Lead-Star-round-1.webp
Very heavy lead - 42mm in diameter, Hexagram (Star of David) clearly seen:
Lead-Star-round-2.webp
about 8mm thick:
Lead-Star-round-side.webp
and nothing on the reverse:
Lead-Star-round-rev.webp
Any idea what this is - Is it too large to be a Token of some kind? Perhaps a weight or Gaming Piece.
Have found the 'Hexagram' design on only one other find in Derbyshire and that was on a very small lead bag seal.
Any ideas most welcome.
Thanks.

Weight would be my best guess.
