:help: Have had good results with the BH VLF so far especially compared to my vintage Whites Goldmster 66TR. Loving being able to discriminate separate tones with the BH. The Whites does descriminate but everything was one tone and is harder to interpret where the BH is easier to understand with variable tones.

Now, the problem I'm having which I'm sure y'all can give me some advice on is nickels sound off just the same as trash? Quarters, dimes, pennies all ring in with a clean higher pitch distinctive tone where the nickels/trash come in at a dull tone. I don't want to be missing out on a bunch of nickels if they're there.

Use just enough disc to knock out iron and dig everything else. If you check gold it will give the same tone as nickels. Digging trash is a necessary evil, don't ignore the low tones, or it isn't only nickels you're gonna miss.
