Back out to the blacksmith's shop looking for more Civil War relics today and came up empty - did manage to find a 1944 P Nickel today though - my first silver nickel!!!! ;D

I also found a couple of memorial cents - a monopoly wheel barrel - I think the item below is a very old lipstick tube???? and the regular other junk. Let me know if you guys think its a lipstick tube - I am unsure.

Thanks for looking guys!!!

Thanks for the ID on the valve stem cover - I knew that thing was old, just wasnt sure what it was - thats a little before my time ;D

This site has been real productive for me so far, I just wish Lady Liberty would show up - I have yet to find any silver showing Lady Liberty - I know its there but I just havent found it yet.

You did good Christopher! Keep those finds comin!

Gotta love those monopoly pieces! I dug a hole at a park earlier this summer about 4 inches deep and got a couple pieces as well as a few plastic houses and hotels to go along with them :)

Congrats on that silver war nickel! Those are tough to come by while detecting!
